Training of Trainers PKM Center Tel-U

Student Creativity Program (PKM)  is one of the forms of implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education launched by the Directorate General of Higher Education Research and Technology. PKM has an impact on increasing student achievement and the achievement of Higher Education in the rankings of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. Source: (simbelmawa.kemdikbud.go.id).

Telkom University is one of the universities that provides innovative and brilliant ideas in the Student Creativity Program (PKM) to the National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS). In 2022 Telkom University successfully passed 6 proposals and 2 incentives, one proposal idea from Telkom University successfully entered the National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS) to make the PKM activities a success in 2023, currently the Directorate of Student Affairs of Telkom University created a university-level PKM Center, this was done to improve achievements for students and universities. This university-level PKM Center is the official committee for the Telkom University level.

The requirements for students who wish to become members of the 2023 PKM Center at university level consist of:
1. Active Tel-U students who are creative, innovative and able to work in a team (minimum semester 3)
2. Specifically for the Mentor Division, priority will be given to those who have experience participating in PKM and at least have passed funding (Opportunities are open to those who have received funding other than PKM or general applicants)
3. Committed to contributing to all Telkom University PKM Center (TUPC) programs

The members of the PKM Center consist of Telkom University students from various faculties and departments divided into the following divisions:

– Multimedia Division
– Administration & Secretarial Division
– Mentor Division
– Event Organizer Division

At the university level PKM Center, there are 40 students who have passed the selection process held by the Directorate of Student Affairs, the selection process is divided into 4 stages, the first stage is an interview, the second stage is an interview and the third stage is a PKM knowledge test and selection announcement. After the selection of the 2023 PKM Center members, they will be given a briefing before the students carry out their respective duties. This is done so that the PKM Center members have the knowledge, skills and understand the job description. For the 2023 Tel-U PKM Center members who are declared successful will carry out the tasks and responsibilities that have been entrusted until the 2023 Student Creativity Program (PKM) process is completed.

With the existence of a university-level PKM Center in addition to those described above, it is hoped that there will be a culture of research and innovation that will produce an entrepreneurial spirit for every student at Telkom University, so that the university's vision and mission can be realized.
