Telkom University Wins First Place in the 2018 MEGAMIC National Business Plan Competition

The MEGAMIC 2018 National Business Plan Competition is a business plan competition organized by the Management Student Association of Sultan Agung Islamic University, Semarang, Central Java. The theme of this National Business Plan Competition is "Exploring Regional Potential to Improve the National Economy," and it is open to students from state and private universities throughout Indonesia, each consisting of three students in each team.

In this event, Telkom University won 1st place in the National Business Plan Competition MEGAMIC 2018 which was held on January 26, 2018 to March 29, 2018. In the file selection process, there were 100 teams registered in the Business Plan Competition event until finally the best 6 teams. The six teams came from 2 teams from Telkom University, 1 team from the Bandung Institute of Technology, 1 team from Veteran Yogyakarta University, 1 team from Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, and 1 team from Brawijaya University. From the six finalists, a presentation of the business plan proposal that had been made by each team was held. After going through tight competition and presentation, then the decision of 3 judges from the KADIN, IIBF, and Internal Sultan Agung Islamic University institutions.

The Telkom University Business Plan Team won the competition thanks to their strong, cohesive and reliable team. Furthermore, their promising business plan idea, which had no competitors, made them a worthy winner. The achievements of the Telkom University Business Plan Team should further motivate us to achieve further success, both nationally and internationally.
