Telkom University Wins International Title at Descomfirst 2018 for "Manual Tools for Agricultural Processing"“

Design Competition for Industrial Systems and Environment (DESCOMFIRST) is a Product Design competition open to undergraduate students across Southeast Asia. The competition focuses on the design of industrial aids, which draws on industrial engineering and combines it with product design to create innovative products that meet societal needs and compete with existing products on the market.

In this competition, the team from Telkom University won 3rd place in the product design category which was held by the Industrial Engineering Student Association of Sebelas Maret University on December 1, 2017 to May 7, 2018. The team consisting of Mochamad Fabian Redhatama, Muhammad Fakhrul Mukmin and Daffa Irfan Nafis won the championship in this international competition because they had uniqueness in conveying interesting ideas and products. impactful and good product design, all of which cannot be separated from excellent teamwork. .

They exemplify courage, coupled with a strong foundation, to bring honor to Telkom University. Hopefully, this will motivate us to continue improving our abilities in any field without fear of falling, as falling can sometimes make us stronger and more agile in improving ourselves.
