Telkom University Won Second Place at the 2018 Industrial Engineering Festival

Students have once again brought honor to Telkom University at the 2018 Industrial Engineering Festival. This competition, specifically for industrial engineering students, was organized by the Industrial Engineering Student Association of Muhammadiyah University of Jakarta. The competition was held from April 1 to May 14, 2018, in Jakarta, with the theme "Improving the People's Economy Through Developing Student Creativity and Innovation with Local Products."“.

This time, Fauziyyah, Haviludin, and Muhammad Fikri, Industrial Engineering students from Telkom University, successfully won the trophy at the 2018 Industrial Engineering Festival in the Business Plan category. Even winning second place was not easy. First, Fauziyyah, Haviludin, and Muhammad Fikri had to submit a business plan proposal for their product. The submitted proposals would be selected and three best business ideas would be chosen from all participants. Then, the three ideas would enter the final stage and be presented. The product they created deserved to win because, according to Fauziyyah, Haviludin, and Muhammad Fikri, the business idea they created was very feasible to run, as seen from the large amount of capital needed to run the business being quite adequate (rational) and with a fairly quick return on investment.

Although the university team didn't win first place, we hope the achievements of Fauziyyah, Haviludin, and Muhammad Fikri will motivate us to achieve more in future competitions. Hopefully, they can bring honor to Telkom University on the national and international stage.
