TEL-U Successfully Organizes PKKMB 2019

Introduction Life Campus For Student New (PKKMB) is a campus introduction program for new students which is educational in nature as a means of fostering and adapting to the higher education environment, which emphasizes self-development; mentally, physically,
character, spiritual, social, and mindset, carried out individually and as members of society
campus and citizens. This PKKMB activity is held in accordance with the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education circular No. 253/B/SE/VIII/2016 concerning Introduction to Campus Life for New Students.

Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) at Telkom University was held in the period of August 4-6, 2019 for the Pancasila Cluster with a total of 3,335 students participating and the period of August 8-10, 2019 for the Proclamation Cluster with a total of 3,596 students participating.

In the implementation of the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) event, new students are not only introduced to the Telkom University environment, but are also equipped with knowledge in the form of seminars including on National Insight in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, the Anti-Corruption Movement or Campaign in collaboration with Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW), the Anti-Drug Abuse Movement or Campaign in collaboration with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), and are given Basic National Defense Training guided by the Combat Engineer Battalion III.

The Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) activity was closed with a ceremonial raising of the Red and White Flag at the General Lecture Building (GKU) in the Pancasila Cluster and Configuration with the words "Superior Human Resources, Indonesia Advances 74"th” on the Proclamation Cluster.
